How credits work
Credits pay for AI-generated notes. Tokens pay for Copilot chat and billing codes.- AI Scribe note, Voice Chart note, Scratch Pad: 1 credit per encounter, charged on the first run. If a run fails, the retry on the same encounter is free.
- Highlights (Finish Later), plain notes, Copy Forward, uploading audio: free.
- Record Update (addendum) (adds information from a new recording): free on processed AI Scribe, Voice Chart and Scratch Pad notes; 1 credit on a Prechart (plain) note.
- Billing codes (Update Billing) and Copilot chat: Copilot tokens, based on the tokens used. Billing codes use tokens on both successful and failed attempts.
- Your plan’s monthly credits are always used before credits you buy.
- Basic and Pro monthly credits reset on the 1st of each month, whatever your billing date. Unused monthly credits don’t roll over.
- Credits you buy go into your wallet right away and never expire.
- Max and Team Max include unlimited notes, so you don’t run out of credits.
- Assistants can’t create notes, so they don’t use credits.
Payment options
- Subscriptions: a credit or debit card, or a bank account. Credit purchases also accept Apple Pay, Link and Klarna.
- Monthly billing, or yearly billing with savings
- All subscriptions renew automatically
- If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, your plan is managed in the App Store.
Refunds
