Permanently delete your account and its notes. Who this is for: Account owners · Plans: All plans · Where: Web (app.chartnote.com), mobile app
Deleting your account is permanent. You lose access to all your notes and can’t sign in with this account again.
Only want to stop charges? Cancel or pause your plan instead.

Before you delete

  • Download any notes you need. You can download notes one at a time. To export all your notes at once, email help@chartnote.com to request a bulk export before you delete your account. Bulk export isn’t self-service.
  • Cancel any subscription or trial first. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel it. Use Billing & Plans, or the App Store if you subscribed there.
  • Deleting your account removes all your notes, including notes in Trash and Archive.

Delete your account

Sign in at app.chartnote.com.

Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner to open the account menu.

Open Settings → Account & Security.

In the Delete Account card, click Delete.

Read the warning, type DELETE in the text box, and click Delete. Your account is deactivated and its data is deleted.

These steps also work if you sign in with Google. You can also delete your account from the mobile app. Last reviewed: October 2026 · Applies to Chartnote 3.0
