# Fix frequent logouts in the Chartnote mobile app

> Keep getting logged out of the Chartnote mobile app? Turn on Face ID, fingerprint or passcode unlock in the app's settings so you can stay signed in longer.

Turn on Face ID or fingerprint unlock so the app keeps you signed in longer.

**Who this is for:** Mobile app users · **Plans:** All plans · **Where:** Chartnote mobile app (iOS and Android)

Without device unlock, the app signs you out after a period of time. Turning on device unlock keeps you signed in longer.

## Turn on device unlock

**1. Open the Chartnote app.**

**2. Tap the ☰ menu in the top-left corner, then tap **Settings**.**

**3. Turn on **Use biometrics, passcode, or pattern to unlock**.**

Next time, unlock the app with Face ID, your fingerprint, or your passcode.
