# Not receiving Chartnote emails? Check spam and filters

> Not getting Chartnote verification codes or password reset emails? Check spam or junk, then add hello@chartnote.com to a Gmail filter or safe senders list.

Add Chartnote as an approved sender in Gmail so codes and reset emails don't go to spam.

**Who this is for:** Everyone · **Plans:** All plans · **Where:** Gmail on the web

Verification codes, password reset emails and team invitations come from [hello@chartnote.com](mailto:hello@chartnote.com) (for example, "Your Chartnote verification code"). If they land in spam, add a Gmail filter.

## Create a Gmail filter

**1. In Gmail, click the gear icon and choose **See all settings**.**

**2. Open **Filters and Blocked Addresses** and click **Create a new filter**.**

**3. In **From**, enter **[hello@chartnote.com](mailto:hello@chartnote.com)**.**

**4. Click **Create filter**.**

**5. Select **Never send it to Spam**, **Always mark it as important**, and **Categorize as: Primary**.**

**6. Click **Create filter**.**

## Test it

Request a password reset again from [app.chartnote.com/welcome](https://app.chartnote.com/welcome). The email should now arrive in your Primary inbox.

Using Outlook or another email provider? Add the same address to your safe-senders list.
